Show Your Graduating Seniors….

Proven Techniques to use Linkedin to Network and Get Jobs!

On demand video series for your students and graduating seniors!

Your graduating students have been participating in social networking sites since their early teens, but, they are about to step out into an entirely different world of business networking.

What have you done to prepare them for it?

The hottest business networking site is Linkedin.  Linkedin has over 45 million members and its growing by one million users a month.  If properly used, Linkedin will help your graduating seniors connect and engage with business professionals and alumni who can help them get – not just jobs, but great jobs!

Your students don’t realize it but, the way one participates on business networking sites is entirely different then on Facebook. If your students bring their Facebook behaviors to the Linkedin environment, it will negatively affect their job search and career.

We've lined up a group of industry professionals who will provide the kind of information, advice, tips and guidance your graduates will need to know.

Your graduating seniors will learn:

  1. What information to include on their profile page
  2. How to build their business network
  3. Effective ways to reach out to others in a business networking environment
  4. How to add spreadsheets, portfolios, reports and Power Points
  5. Techniques to use groups to build your networks
  6. Why to participate in Answers
  7. The right way to connect with people in your friends network
  8. Effective techniques to use alumni to get interviews
  9. The importance of recommendations and who to get them from
  10. The best Groups to join and how to maximize participation

Your graduates will be able to watch each presentation whenever they want.   The presentations/interviews are broken into 7-10 minute sessions - designed to give the students chunks of information they can understand and implement.  Students can watch each video as often as they want.

By watching the presentations, your graduating seniors will have an incredible advantage over others. They will learn how to use Linkedin to reach out to  alumni of ALL ages for help in:

  • Transitioning from place or job
  • Getting advice on careers
  • Help in getting interviews
  • Notified when a job is available

Linkedin is the most powerful business networking tool ever available to graduating seniors and alumni.  You can help them gain an understanding how to use this powerful tool early in their senior year so they have time to build their profile and their network.
